A team of Helsby Running Club members and businessmen will tackle one of the oldest extreme multi-sport endurance races to raise money for charity. The five-strong Silver Surfers team are taking part in the Three Peaks Yacht Race. They will be raising money of a number of local charities; the Hospice of the Good Sheppard, St Ann’s Hospice, SOS Children and Round Table Children’s Wish. How to follow the race
We will try and keep you up to date with progress of the Silver Surfers and some of the other crews on this blog. However, you can track progress of all the boats yourself by going to the Three Peaks Yacht Race website (http://www.threepeaksyachtrace.co.uk/) and select:
